There is a repeating rumor that 2.0.1 is going up next week. I've been
skeptical because I don't see the point of having a PTR for only 10 days,
but I keep hearing it from people in the beta.

The main supporting argument is that 'this has all been tested in the beta
already'. Anyone who programs for a living doesn't buy this, because we
know it's all about packaging, and not the individual bits of code. *
