| I saw somethng similar happen on the Red Road, near the Blue Road that goes to Cheydinhal. There were three of them there when I galloped by with a bear & cougar chasing me. Being the good trooper that they were, they began whacking at the animals. All three were in close quarters when one trooper accidentally whacks another. Then all three were going at it, plus battling the amimals. When the dust cleared, only one trooper was still standing. He then got on his horse and rode off like nothing had happened. Needless to say, I had a lot of armor to sell off. | I've got a different bug for you. I was on my way to Cheyindal, almost directly north of Imperial City, on a paint when I see a castle ahead and dismount to scout, there's somebody green out the front. I hadn't taken any more than three steps when I am informed that I have been caught stealing from a thieves guild member and I need to see Armand. I pause and am attacked from behind, then informed that I have been caught stealing from the mages guild and dismissed. I reloaded and earlier game (just a bit before on the road) and it happened again. So I reloaded and avoided the place. Hell, I've stolen from every guild I've walked into, but nobody ever saw me _and_ I was in the middle of the forest -- " . . . | Hi Jeremy. No. I didn't touch my horse. I did make it jump off of something tall and it got hurt, but I'd also been off of it twice before this happened. I put it down to weirdness, shrugged my shoulders and moved on. -- " . . . | Oops, that was unclear. Left Imperial City Made horse jump = hurt horse (but not by hitting him) got off in villages got off near castle (got electrocuted and ran) = not much of a fighter got off near different castle and received stupid messages reloaded -- " . . . | I had similar, I usually move to get one enemy between me and another (simply stratergy) however, and i speculate here, if they are not from the same "team" and they hit each other they end up fighting. Say something like a necromancer casting spells at me, i hide behind a minotaur with my shield up, the frost ball hits the minotaur and he joins me against the necromacer for a while. I don't try to exploit this bug, I just like living shield. Isn't it written in the art of war somewhere to use your enemies attack against it? Once I was leaving castle Skingrad, get just to the end of the bridge and BAM I've stolen from a guild member, blah, blah. Happened every time so I fast traveled from the Castle the the city gate. ![]() Second spot was on the road, got attacked while on my horse. I dismount and return fire and BAM, there it is again. Didn't hit hte horse, he was behind me, though my attacker may have hit him. Highly annoying bug. |

My character was sneaking above a big room full of both bandits and marauders. I shot a Marauder with an arrow, who promtly turned on the nearest bandit bowman and starting whacking away. This started a general melee that resulted in all the bandits being slayed by the marauders - except for one bandit 'hedge wizard' who was out of reach. I continued to rain arrows down on the Marauders who chopped at the walls beneath me until they all fell down. Then I started shooting at the Bandit Hedge wizard. who was just barely visible. I shot an arrow, the wizard let out a yelp then healed himself and ran a little bit, saying 'damn rats' and 'I'm getting jumpy'. I started counting shots. 28 arrows later the hedge wizard let-out his last 'damn rats' and collapsed. When I looted the hedge wizard's corpse I recovered 16 arrows. Isn't Radiant AI the coolest thing? <smirk> -- MJB Mr. Tin's Miniature Painting Workshop: http://web.newsguy.com/Mrtinsworkshop/ |
