I have played through Oblivion twice. I am now roaming around looking
for quests. I play as a warrior. I don't sneak much. I don't steal. I
don't use much magic. I achieved the 'arch-mage' position through sharp
swords. I have two companions. One of them uses magic, the other uses a
sword. I help widows and orphans. I wear heavy armor. I use one handed
long swords. I would like a mod that would give me plenty to do. Does
anyone have some suggestions that I could explore?

Oldie but a goodie--"Lost Paladins of the Divines" offers quest & balanced
reward: longsword, shield & heavy armor.

(you also get a war stallion w/retextured armor if you're into horses.)

Author throws a tricky curve for final battle, but no kill zones or
impossible odds. Just something pretty straightforward, and survivable if
you're on your toes.

Let us know if you find any more. If I'm not running archers, I enjoy
fighter types too.
