| http://www.1minaduki.com/bbs/bbs-gam...msgview&page=0 Translated directly into English: __________________________ "I've played for about 7 hours now and I can say that this team needs to stop making Final Fantasy games. I can't even believe this is a Final Fantasy game. The pacing is just terrible and dull. Battles are pretty much just like in FF11, but license system is more convoluted with new conditions on everything. The map is also unnecessarily huge and easy to get lost, and it's also easy to waste lots of time trying to figure out the stupid map. The story almost seems like they're ripping off Star Wars! About the only thing I can say is good is the graphics, the scenery and environment. But the characters don't look as good as in FF10, so I hate to say it but I feel like for the first time in Final Fantasy series history the graphics have gotten worse." __________________________ |

Easy. The original poster wants to bash Final Fantasy. Therefore, only reviews that are negative can possibly be correct. Duh. -Tim |

I wonder what we should call you? How about Blim Gerk or Gilm Berk, or maybe "Dumbass". FFXII easily, looks a billion times better than FFX, anyone that can't tell the difference between pre-rendered backgrounds and static camera angles vs realtime graphics, endless draw distances, and a 360* camera needs to stop playing games. God help the idiot if he continues to review them. -- |

That's really my only beef with the FF games. I hate them! When I clear an area it should remain clear, at least for a long time |

| final fantasy 8, the masterwork of the series, allowed you to gain the ability to turn off all battles besides boss battles and those integral to the storyline. the rpg style where you walk around and randomly get pulled into a battle every three seconds got stale a long time ago. if you don't want to play a garbage rpg, pick up morrowind or oblivion. |

I like that last one best. I'm currently playing Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, (which, incidentally, is also a Square-Enix game) and it uses that form of encounter mechanism. |

| >or one where you can see your enemies, and avoid them if you dont want >to battle. yeah, chrono cross not only allowed you to actually see the enemies on the map and attempt to avoid them, but it also had a fantastic battle system that borrowed some elements from the fantastic system in panzer dragoon saga. |

FFX-2 had an accessory which could keep away the beasties. I'm pretty sure a few of the othe games from the series had the same thing John |
