There are a number of things that can prevent bandages from working
on you or a friendly target- all involving either A) the bandagee getting
hit during the bandaging process, or B) the bandagee being under the
influence of a DoT. If you have been poisoned in any way, the bandage
attempt will fail. Poisons usually affect you every few ticks/seconds, so
you may get a couple of seconds of healing from it before the poison
kicks in again and stops your bandaging effort. I've wasted a bazillion
bandages that way because I failed to notice I had a poison DoT on me
when I tried to use one. I forget whether or not diseases or curses can
cancel a bandaging attempt.

That probably ticked him off. Now you mention it, I sometimes heal or
cure a person in RP when there is not real danger and pl are not damaged
or poisoned. We must have healed exactly at the same time (or me a
little bit sooner actually)

I think I was helping someone do Wailing Caverns back when this
happened. There could be poison from the snakes. We both were level
28&30 and we gained no XP from killing monsters there <g> At least I didn't.
