I was playing WoW last night and I was in the Western Plaguelands
killing the undead at Sorrow Hill. I was also doing some add-on coding
so I was reloading the interface quite a lot. I noticed two problems:

1) after a reload my reputation tab would be empty until I got a
reputation gain
2) that first reputation gain would be listed as being around 1000
points

I checked the figures, reloaded the ui and checked the figures again
and it turns out that I never got the 1000 points gain - I always got
the 5 points that I should have.

Anyone else see any odd reputation behaviour last night?

Yeah it seems to blank the tab sometimes.. so next rep gain you get, it
announced that you have just gained your ENTIRE current reputation.

You're not gaining anything you shouldn't.. it's just a display/announce
glitch.

Neqarly everytime i logon between a horde and alliance char, i see
"Unfriendly" and my window shows me that i lost nearly a lot of
reputation, and then gained it back again.

I think it's funny.
