Default Raising Guild Morale

I've been in a guild for several months now, since I was about lvl16 (back
in June, I guess). The guild has undergone several changes, including
leadership. Our leader and creator of the guild changed realms, and turned
the guild over to another person, who left to join an end-game guild with no
advance warning. We had several high-levels leave for end-game guilds, too.
The current guild master is not very experienced, but eager to learn, and
has fun in the game. I am one of the few original members (not that I was
original, but from the time I joined....) and the guild leader has asked me
to be her second in command.

Our goal is to be a friendly, helpful guild, helping lower levels have fun
and grow in the game, and playing together as much as possible. I'd like
some suggestions on how to improve morale (several members are quite shaken
up and confused by all the changes), and how to recruit members who have
similar game goals.

I'd love to do a naked gnome race, similar to the one Urbin's guild did, but
we do not have the resources for large prizes (or even matching shirts!).
One of original members was in charge of the guild bank, and has not been
seen online in over a month, although the characters have not been deleted.

Any suggestions?

To be honest, in Europe the quick succession of Football World Cup +
Exams + Summer Holidays + Paid character transfer destroyed more than
20 BWL raiding guilds on my server alone - TBC is only here to finish
the job.

The best way to raise a guild's morale is to frame a guild prom movie.

I quit my (12 boss) naxx guild and set my account to not renew. Just cant
seem to maintain the interest anymore knowing its all going out the window
in a month, and the upcoming nerfs and trashing of many UI mods that Ive got
used to. (Im a priest)
Our main tank who's beein with the guild from the start 15 months ago quit
wow too the other day.

I wonder if things will turn out how Blizzard planned them.
