You needed TIME, not time. So much TIME that you probably had to have
multiple people play your character for the better part of three months, at
least on my server. In the old PvP system, none of the PvP purples were in
the reach of an ordinary player, or even the slightly hardcore player
putting in 20+ hours a week. On Emerald dream, even Rank 8 turned
battlegrounds into a profession.

In the new system, you can spend as much time as you want, and get rewards
as you go. A much better system, even if it DOES mean everyone had the
high warlord/grand marshal weapons .*

So the arena gear is epic but the battleground gear isn't? I hate that the
only way epic gear worth a darn is achievable through raiding. I literally
can not raid with my current work schedule. So the new PVP system made me
pretty happy. Now I think I'm very disappointed again with Blizzard.

I'm asking the question because I have holes in my equipment ie

T1 equivalent - pants & gloves
T3 or equivalent - robe + bracers
T2 equivalent everything else


So, do I continue to grind honour to replace my pants & gloves or will I
replace them within a level or 2?
