| Did a dungeon. Spent four hours on it. At the last boss, I get killed shortly before the boss goes down. I rez and rush back in case needed for the battle. The boss drops. The team members say "DON'T LOOT". WAIT. One of the guys responds "K". ... then loots before I get back. Thus I am not able to loot the final quest item and have to do the entire F#$#@$ING thing over again to complete the quest. The folks at Blizzard ought to fix that kind of thing. |

| Well, that guy was a jerk, but you shouldn't release and run back either. There's no way you will be there in time to aid your comrades again when you die in a boss battle. It's almost certainly long over by the time you get back there. So don't release in a situation like that. Sometimes makes it even harder for the healer to res you, because you aren't on the minimap anymore and they have to find your corpse by eye. If you don't release you get loot rights and credit even if you are dead when the boss dies. Wasn't always so, in the first versions of WoW when you were dead when the boss fell you didn't get credit no matter what. <faceman28208@yahoo.com> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:1195018553.183153.69130@v65g2000hsc.googlegro ups.com... > Did a dungeon. He must have MC'ed us about 8 times (usually he's dead before the 4th one). I was bear tanking, and I was the only person who didn't die at least once. Some of the DPS'ers were able to die twice and still be back for the final takedown. Not something I'd want to have to do every time, but it was really funny.
