Last week it was 30 Arakkoa Feathers that disappeared (curiously on the day
of that longer-than-usual downtime). This week it was 3 Hakiri Bijous. Just
gone, no explanation, no expired item in the mailbox, no money.

Does this happen to anyone else? And what do you do if you have something
expensive that was listed in the AH? like a BoE epic?

I've never had this happen to me, but I have heard of it happening
before.

So, as a precaution, I never list auctions for more than 24 hours on
Sunday, and I don't list auctions at all on Monday. And, on Monday, I
empty out my mailboxes.

once in a while it seems like I lose an Earthstorm Diamond of some other $$ thing Zebby
has Alchemy'ed up for the AH. (lost items enough times to notice huh)

That is not a fragment of my imagination either.. We're talking about noticing when I am
only having one or two items up on the AH, not big long "sell to 9 miillion" players list
of goodies, so I can retire thing.
Sometimes the AH posted item seems to disappear in transit ? Must of been sold but there
appears no record at the mailbox?
Epics I haven't noticed since outlands. Mostly I get greenies from the NPC's as rewards
and put those up for 3 or 4 gold. I'll keep and eye on those now.

time for Sherlock Holmes to step in. Maybe Inspector Clouseau ?

BTW: The little cost per item (like in the grocery stores) label that pops up when you
hover over the AH item's icon appears whacked in its calculations for cost per item (buy
vs bid). Maybe I just need to sit down with my calc, or include tax and deposit ?

Is your mailbox several pages full? If it is try emptying out some of
it - pages beyond 4-5 or so are not displayed.
