Default Sharp vs. Blunt

Is there any damage reduction when using a cutting weapon against a creature
that doesnt bleed, or using a blunt weapon against others? For instance, it
would make sense if for an identical sword and mace, the sword did more
damage to animals, humanoids, etc., and the sword would do less damage to
stone elementals.

I've never seen any mention of a sharp vs. blunt affect, in any way. I believe they
pretty much do damage as stated, at face value, against any kind of creature.
Unless somebody knows something that I don't, yet...

It depends upon the mob and what kind of natural resitance it has.
